President meets World Bank officials over projects in Uganda

President Yoweri Museveni has met and held a meeting with officials from the World Bank for discussions over some World Bank funded projects in Uganda.
The Country Director of the World Bank, Diarietou Gaye, along with the Bank’s Country Manager, Christina Malmberg Calvo, who called on called on the President this afternoon at State House Entebbe, discussed with him a wide range of issues concerning a host of projects such as roads particularly the construction of the 66-Kms Kamwenge – Fort Portal road in Western Uganda and electricity, among other projects, that the World Bank is funding in Uganda.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Hon. Matia Kasaija, the Governor of Bank of Uganda, Professor Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile, the Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. Keith Muhakanizi and officials from the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), attended the meeting.
