President Mourns TZ Leader, Directs Flags be Hoisted Half-Mast

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has mourned the Late president of Tanzania His Excellency John Magufuli describing him as a patriot who could not tolerate corruption and the meddling of outside countries into the affairs of Tanzania.

“It is therefore a great shock that such a useful leader has died so early when he was beginning to make an impact on his country,” he said.

President receives Sudanese Leader Gen. Fattah al-Burhan

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has this afternoon received the  Chairman of the Transitional Military Council of the Republic of Sudan General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan who paid a courtesy call on him at State House Entebbe.

General Fattah who is the current chairman of the regional body Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), is also the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has said that with proper planning and resource prioritization, the judiciary can provide nation-wide judicial service up to the sub county level, reiterating his earlier stand that since there are administrative units at the Sub-county level including Chiefs, Forest officers, veterinary officers and medical assistants, it would be important to have a judicial officer as well.

Museveni to Pastors, Address issue of Wealth and Health

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni together with the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni yesterday (Wednesday) met and held discussions with Ugandan pastors from all parts of the country who paid a courtesy visit to congratulate the President upon his victory.

President Museveni won the 2021 elections by 58.38%.

City Pastors Pledge support to Museveni, Pray for Uganda

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: City Pastors from over 10 churches in and around Kampala have prayed with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at State House Entebbe. They also pledged their support for him in the upcoming Presidential elections due this Thursday.

The Pastors who each commands a following of over 20,000 Christians were accompanied to the meeting by Mr. Balaam Barugahara an NRM supporter and promoter.
