President Receives New Uganda Airlines Bombardier Aircraft

President Yoweri Museveni has assured the people of Uganda that the new Uganda Airline will be a successful undertaking because of the big Ugandan diaspora, the very many Uganda business people that travel and the many tourists coming to visit the country (Pearl of Africa).
The President, who was accompanied by the 1st Lady who is also Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Museveni, was speaking at the ceremony of receiving 2 new Uganda Airlines Bombardier airplanes at Entebbe International Airport.

President tells UPDF not to Fall in Trap of past Armies

President Yoweri Museveni, has reminded soldiers of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) that as members of a Liberation Army, they should clearly differentiate themselves from the traditional tribal and colonial armies and always champion patriotism and nationalism on top of embracing and working for Pan-Africanism, socio-economic transformation of their society and defend Uganda’s democracy.

President Launches Soroti Fruit Factory Commercial Operations

President Yoweri Museveni has advised the people of Teso Sub-Region in Eastern Uganda to continue growing fruits because it is the medicine to get them out of household poverty and the venture commands global market as well.
The President was today speaking at the launching ceremony of the commercial operations for Soroti Fruit Factory in Arapai Sub-County, Aloet village in Soroti District.

“Uganda is on right Track of Industrialization” – President Museveni

President Yoweri Museveni has said that Uganda is on the right track of industrialisation under the National Resistance Movement because the Movement government has brought about and guaranteed peace, developed infrastructures such as roads and electricity and created an enabling environment that has attracted investors to the country.

President discusses with NORDIC Envoys

President Yoweri Museveni has Today held a Joint meeting with the NORDIC countries’ Ambassadors in Uganda – Sweden, Iceland, Denmark and Norway – at State House Entebbe. State Ministers for International Affairs, Henry Okello Oryem, State for Relief and Disaster preparedness,Musa Ecweru along with Uganda’s Ambassador to the NORDIC Countries, Nimisha Jayant Madhvani, attended the meeting.

President Museveni launches National Task Force on Industrial Revolution

President Yoweri Museveni has inaugurated a team of experts to guide the country on the 4th Industrial Revolution Technologies.
During the ceremony that took place this evening at State House, Entebbe, and witnessed by Prime Minister, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, among other, the President cautioned the team to take great care integrating the revolution well for the benefit of the people of Uganda
“The advance of science is the primer of all social change. In order to use it well, you must integrate it well,“ he said.

President Museveni receives Message from President Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea

President Yoweri Museveni has today received a message from President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea.
A special envoy of President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo Mr. Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, who is also Minister of External Security, delivered the message today to President Museveni at State House, Entebbe.
President Museveni and the envoy also discussed matters of mutual interest between Uganda and Equatorial Guinea.
