Gen. Museveni to UPDF “Monitor Progression of staff Personnel”

KABAMBA MILITARY ACADEMY: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces has said leadership must be equal or greater than the number of troops under their command at each level and directed the UPDF leadership to always keep abreast with those requirements including deliberately training leaders and officers of the right level and age of command at Platoon, Company levels.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has strongly urged educationists and parents as well as all leaders in Uganda to guide students on what courses to pursue that are on the job market.

“Education without aim is very dangerous especially for the family who spend money on children doing courses which dont have market on the for sectors is a very big mistake,” he said.

President Receives Credentials from new Envoys of SA, UAE and Somalia

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: Three new envoys accredited to Uganda, from the Republic of South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and the Federal Republic of Somalia, have today presented their letters of credence to President Museveni at separate ceremonies at State House Entebbe.

Ambassador Lulama Mary Theresa Xingwana from South Africa was the first envoy to present her letters of credence to President Museveni.
