KABAMBA MILITARY ACADEMY: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces has said leadership must be equal or greater than the number of troops under their command at each level and directed the UPDF leadership to always keep abreast with those requirements including deliberately training leaders and officers of the right level and age of command at Platoon, Company levels.

“Education without aim is very dangerous especially for the family who spend money on children doing courses which dont have market on the for sectors is a very big mistake,” he said.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: Three new envoys accredited to Uganda, from the Republic of South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and the Federal Republic of Somalia, have today presented their letters of credence to President Museveni at separate ceremonies at State House Entebbe.
Ambassador Lulama Mary Theresa Xingwana from South Africa was the first envoy to present her letters of credence to President Museveni.
STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has commended the government of Uganda and President Yoweri Museveni for the good and flexible refugee policies that have enabled people from the neighboring countries to take refuge in Uganda and amicably coexist with the hosting communities.
