President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today confirmed his attendance at this year’s C-10 summit which will be held in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The summit will take place on 23rd November 2023.

“I will definitely come and attend the summit,” President Museveni confirmed.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has challenged local scientists to fast- track the development of the HIV/AIDS vaccine.

“It's good that you are waking up, and we must get the vaccine,” he said.

The President made the remarks today as the Chief Guest during the Joint Clinical Research Center (JCRC) 30th Anniversary celebrations held at the center's headquarters in Lubowa, along Entebbe Road, Wakiso District.

Further to my morning message about the devastating attacks our Air-force carried out against ADF in Congo yesterday, today, through popular vigilance (Wanainchi Kuwa macho wazi), two bombs which the remnants from Congo were planning to plant in churches in Kibibi, Butambala, were reported to the Police and defused.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this afternoon received the Chairman of Prometheus, Mr. Mariusz Lwanski who called on him at State House, Entebbe.

Mr. Lwanski, an investor from Poland was accompanied by Ambassador Rosa Malango, the Chairperson of Tumaini African Knowledge Centre (TAKC). 

Other members of the delegation included Mr. Alex Szkaradek, the Director of Prometheus. 

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has met the CEO and Managing Director of Rowad Capital Commercial LLC (RCC) group, Mr. Chaher Al Taki who called on him this afternoon at State House Entebbe.

RCC is a leading global engineering and construction contractor established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

The group also specialises in the provision of Advisory and Consulting Services in the Middle East and Africa. 

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has cautioned Ugandans against using Information And Communications Technology (ICT) to promote importation.

President Museveni said Ugandans should use the ICT to promote buying of goods and services within Uganda or promote selling to outsiders but not vice versa.

Yesterday, the 17th of October, 2023, we had a most unfortunate and infuriating incident in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. A couple of tourists and the Ugandan driver with them were killed at around 1800hrs on the Katwe- Kabatooro murram road, by a small group of terrorists running away from our operations in Congo, as I had shared with you in a previous message.

This is to inform you that today, the 21st of October 2023, we paid a serious visit to the ADF terrorists in Congo. Our gunships attacked a big camp of these criminals, 60kms from the border, Ntoroko side. The attack was devastating because it was a clear target and the reconnaissance plane, was monitoring from the air.
