President Museveni is back home from a two-day working visit to Ethiopia where he joined other regional leaders to witness the inauguration ceremony of Unity Park, among others, that took place yesterday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital.
Other leaders who attended the inauguration ceremony included Presidents Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, Salva Kiir of South Sudan, Mohamed Abdulahi of Somalia and Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdock of Sudan.
President Yoweri Museveni is in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia for a 2-day working visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia who received him today on arrival at Addis Ababa’s Bole International Airport.
During his stay in the country, President Museveni will attend the inauguration ceremony of Unity Park, among other engagements.
AT STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE.
1.Approved the Regulation of Veterinary Medical Products, Biologicals, Chemicals and Devices. The objectives include;
i.To apply veterinary science in regulation of manufacture, import, export, distribution, sale and use of Veterinary inputs including medical products and biologicals and equipment to fulfil the needs of the animal subsector and improve animal health and productivity;
STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has directed the Ministries of Finance and Economic Planning and that of Science, Technology and Innovation, to avail funds for the registration of tested and approved science and technology innovations that are a product of many years of research by the Food and Science Department and the Faculty of Veterinary Services of Makerere University.
