In Exercise of the Powers vested in the President by Articles 99(1), 108(2), 108A(1), 113(1) and 114(1) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has, in pursuance of the goals of the NRM and Ugandans in general, made minor changes to the Cabinet.
He has appointed persons listed below as Vice President, Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State and Senior Presidential Advisors:
President Yoweri Museveni has praised the leadership of Kampala-based Kyambogo University for the new innovations exhibited at the stalls at today’s graduation ceremony in the University Campus describing them as a renaissance that Africa needs.
“In Kyambogo you are beginning to wake up. There is actually renaissance at Kyambogo. Kyambogo has got out of Kulambala (sleep),” he observed.
Over 70 professionals in enrolled Nursing, Midwifery, pharmacy, laboratory techniques, records and information management in Iganga District have been commissioned by President Yoweri Museveni. The graduands were awarded Diplomas and Certificates in Clinical Medicine, 3 years after the launching of the Institute.
The graduation ceremony took place yesterday at Lubega Institute of Nursing and Health Professionals Campus in Busei Parish of Nakalama Sub-County in Kigulu South Constituency.

President Yoweri Museveni has called on members of the National Fellowship of the Pentecostal Churches of Uganda and wananchi at large not to be parasites.
He made the call today at Kyenjojo Secondary School in Kyenjojo Town in Tooro Sub-Region when he joined their congregation in prayers and used the occasion to address them.
President Yoweri Museveni has paid his condolences upon the death of Nalongo Kiwanuka Kyazze Josephine, who was an active mobilizer during the protracted people’s armed struggle of 1981 to 1986 that ushered the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Government into power.
