STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: As Uganda celebrates its Independence month, more world leaders including the United Nations Secretary General, The Presidents of Italy, Iran and Nicaragua are among some of the world leaders who have congratulated Uganda on its Independence Day commemorated on October 9, every year.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: More world leaders have congratulated President Yoweri Museveni and the people of Uganda upon their 59 Independence Day commemoration wishing them progress and prosperity.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has received a special message from the President of the United States of America Joe Biden congratulating him upon Ugandas’ 59th Independence Anniversary due to be celebrated on Saturday the 9th October 2021.

ADDIS ABABA: President Yoweri Museveni has urged African political leaders and the African people in general to shun the politics of identity that characterized most of the post-independence Africa noting that politic of identity that was mostly based on tribes and religions were counterproductive, diversionary and led to the emergency of many failed states in post-independence Africa.

STATE LODGE, NAKASERO: The Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria, Pope Tawadros II has sent a special message to President Yoweri Museveni and the people of Uganda and hailed them for the support extended to them following the demise of  the late  Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga , who served as Archbishop of Kampala and Exarch of All Uganda in the Uganda Orthodox Church.

STATE LODGE, NAKASERO: President Yoweri Museveni has received a special message from his Kenyan counterpart President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The message was yesterday delivered to the President by Ambassador Raychelle Omamo, Cabinet Secretary (Foreign Affairs) and Amb. Monica Juma (Exon) who is also the Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Defense at State House Nakasero.
