Uganda Government, Total sign key oil Pipeline Agreement

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE. The Government of Uganda and Total have concluded and signed the Host Government Agreement (HGA) for the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project. 

The ceremony that took place yesterday at State House Entebbe was presided over by President Museveni, and witnessed by Mr. Patrick Pouyanne, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Total.

“Bring Concept of Justice Closer to the People”, President urges Judiciary

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has urged the Judiciary to prioritize their activities so that they minimize the gap between the respective arms of government and serve the people of Uganda well.

“If we prioritize well, there will be no problem. However, the indiscipline of some elites in this case is causing us problems” President Museveni said.

President Museveni bids farewell to outgoing Nigerian High Commissioner

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE. President Museveni has bid farewell to the outgoing High Commissioner of Nigeria to Uganda, H.E (Dr) Etubom Nya Eyoma Asuquo, who has concluded his three-year tour of duty. 

Ambassador Etubom yesterday paid a courtesy call on President Museveni at State House Entebbe, where he thanked him for the support given to him during his tour of duty in Uganda. 

President Museveni receives Bamugemereire Land Commission Report

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: The Commission of Inquiry into Land Matters led by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire has today handed over its report to President Yoweri Museveni and briefed him about several issues including that the land fund established by government to settle land matters is used to finance irregular transactions involving payment of huge sums of money from the land fund to brokers and well-connected individuals in Kampala.

Tap into Uganda's Immense Opportunities, says Museveni

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: Uganda has a sea of opportunities that leaders should tap into to serve their communities, President Museveni has said. 

The President's counsel was made on Friday at State House Entebbe as he launched two books authored by the Secretary to the Judiciary, Mr Pius Bigirimana. The books are; ‘The Corona Lockdown Chronicles’ and ‘Abundance Mentality'.
