AT THE

LAUNCH OF THE MANIFESTO WEEK 2019

President Yoweri Museveni has urged leaders of anti-corruption agencies in Africa to deeply involve victims of corruption in the fight against the vice because victims are the ones who most feel the pain and don’t gain anything from the practice.

“When you are corrupt, the pain is felt by the masses. It is the victims who can help you to fight corruption better. They have nothing to lose,” he observed.

President Yoweri Museveni has called on parliament to postpone the Sugar Bill and instead have more stakeholder engagements to save the sugar industry.

HARARE, ZAMBABWE - President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in the Zimbabwe Capital Harare on a two-day official visit at the invitation of the President of Zimbabwe His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The President is the Chief Guest at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) and will officially open it on Friday 26th, 2019 in Bulawayo, the second largest city in the Southwest of Zimbabwe.

President Yoweri Museveni has warned Ugandans against the continued fragmentation of land on the basis of backward and primitive inheritance rites. He observed that the vice will lead Uganda into irreversible poverty because the country’s economy and livelihood depends on agriculture.

President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in the South African city of Pretoria for a two day SADC Solidarity Conference on Western Sahara.

The 38th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of SADC approved the convening of a Conference on Solidarity with the Saharawi people. South Africa and Namibia are co-hosting the SADC Solidarity Conference with Western Sahara.

I am writing to let you know that by accident, I, at last, had a meeting with a Rwandan who admitted to being a member of the group you told me about - Rwanda National Congress (RNC). This is a lady known as Mukankusi, whom, I am sure you know, but I had never met before.

President Yoweri Museveni who is also the national Chairman of the NRM Party has today accepted the NRM Parliamentary Caucus endorsement of the Party’s Central Executive Committee’s resolution that was made at Chobe Safari Hotel in Nwoya District last month that nominated him as the NRM Presidential candidate for the 2021 elections.
