President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has received a message of condolence from the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson upon the death of Speaker Jacob Oulanyah. Rt. Hon. Oulanyah died in USA on March 20 and was buried last Friday at Lalogi in Omoro district. 

Premier Johnson's message was delivered by Lord Dolar Popat who called on the President at State House, Nakasero, this afternoon.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief (CIC) of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) has met with the country’s Security High Command during which they discuessed the country’s successful handling of several pandemics including COVID 19, Locusts, Operation Shujaa and the security situation in the Karamoja region.

He commended the UPDF for their efforts in enforcing Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) when the pandemic was at its peak.
