We will not fight other peoples’ wars, we want Development

NEBBI, WEST NILE: Nebbi local leaders yesterday showered President Yoweri Museveni with various gifts amidst including sheep, goats, chicken and cultural regalia amidst cheering describing him as a unifying and developmental leader who understands the needs of the people.  

“We don’t want to fight other peoples wars. Other districts have developed much better than us. It is now our turn and we want it big from you. West Nile has nothing against you. We don’t have another candidate either in the primaries or in the general elections. We want you to continue with your clear and strong leadership from 2021 and beyond,” the Chairman LCV of Arua Municipality Wadri Sam said seconded by various leaders from the the West Nile Districts of Arua, Koboko, Maracha, Pakwach, Nebbi, Zombo, Arua, Yumbe.

“As our sole candidate, we want to install you as our uncontested leader in line with our culture and people aspirations. West Nile has no one to contest against you where in the primaries or in the general elections,” he said amidst ululations. The leaders held joint prayers for the President

The leaders resolved to promote the President’s campaign on wealth and jobs creation in the country. They also declared their overwhelming support and adopted the NRM CEC resolutions at Chobe Safari Lodge, NRM Parliamentary Caucus retreat in Ngoma to endorse President Museveni as the sole NRM Chairperson and Presidential candidate for another term in 2021.
