NRM Caucus to Consult on Matters of National Importance

KOLOLO CEREMONIAL GROUNDS: President Yoweri Museveni who is also the national Chairman of the National Resistance Movement has today chaired a meeting of the NRM Parliamentary Caucus deliberating on matters of national interest.

According to the NRM Chief Whip Thomas Tayebwa, they hope to discuss matters of importance and decide resolutions that will make the country secure.

President Museveni Explains Delay in Veteran Compensation

ARUA CITY: President Yoweri Museveni who is also the National Resistance Movement [NRM] Presidential candidate has said that the government of Uganda through the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs has received Shs. 90 billion to pay 11,000 veterans in the financial year 2020/2021. He also said that another UShs.90 billion will be released to pay the remaining 14,000 claimants in financial year 2021-2022.

Excitement as Museveni kicks starts Campaign Meetings

KAWUMU, NAKASEKE: It was fanfare, dance and music as President Museveni today (Monday) kickstarted his re-election campaign trail at Kawumu Presidential Demonstration Farm in Luweero District. 

As early as 7am, selected NRM leaders from the Greater Luweero Area had begun assembling at the facility, awaiting clearance, most armed with their latest Covid-19 test results, a requirement for attendance.

LIRA CITY: President Yoweri Museveni who is also the NRM Presidential Candidate has urged the NRM leaders to remind the people that it was because of wise policies of the NRM that the country has been able carry out a number of notable achievements. 

He was speaking during a meeting of NRM leaders and flag-bearers from Lango sub region districts of Alebtong, Amolatar, Apac, Dokolo, Kole, Lira and Oyam.
