PRESIDENT MUSEVENI RECEIVES SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM KING MSWATI III

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on 3rd May, 2024 received a special message from the King of Eswatini, His Majesty, Mswati III. 

The message was delivered by Eswatini Prince Lindani Nkosi during a sideline meeting of the African Parliamentarians with the President at State House-Entebbe. 

The Prince's visit to Uganda coincided with his participation in the 2nd African Inter-Parliamentary Conference which ended on May 3, 2024.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Friday 3rd May, 2024 hosted and welcomed a delegation of African parliamentarians at State House Entebbe.

Addressing the delegates, President Museveni highlighted the impact of African weaknesses at the expense of imperialism, stressing the need for self-reflection and unity among Africans. 

BUKEDI APPRECIATES PRESIDENT MUSEVENI FOR FIGHTING UNEMPLOYMENT AMONG THE YOUTHS AS 477 GRADUATE IN VOCATIONAL SKILLS

Leaders in the Bukedi sub-region have lauded President Museveni for fighting unemployment among the youth through skilling. 

 

They say the skills acquired through the Presidential Zonal Industrial Hub initiative usher them into the money economy.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has revealed that the current problem in Uganda is not jobs but rather attitude and lack of vision among citizens who don't listen to the National Resistance Movement (NRM)'s message of wealth creation.

DOKOLO RESIDENTS ADVISED TO PRIORITISE RIGHT ENTERPRISE SELECTION TO BENEFIT FROM PDM PROGRAM

The residents of Bata sub-county in Dokolo District have been advised to prioritise right enterprise selection if they are to fully benefit from the Parish Development Model (PDM) program. 

This was revealed by the Special Presidential Assistant on Political Affairs, Mr. Owiny Alfred Thopacu today during a meeting that was convened at Atabu Primary School, Bata sub-county in Dokolo that brought together over 635 beneficiaries of the PDM program to assess its progress.

The Minister for Presidency, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda has urged the people of Greater Masaka to continue supporting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for continued stability that is now giving rise to the current socio-economic transformation in the country. 

 

According to Hon. Babalanda, the President’s focus is now on fighting unemployment in Uganda through skilling the youths.

PRESIDENT MUSEVENI COMMISSIONS NAKIVUBO WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Thursday 25th April, 2024 commissioned the newly refurbished Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium. 

The multi-purpose stadium was developed by businessman Hamis Kiggundu famously known as Ham.

During the commissioning, President Museveni congratulated and thanked Mr. Ham Kiggundu for the good work of giving Nakivubo Stadium a state-of-the-art face-lift.
