President Macron Pledges Political, Economic Support, Ahead of Swearing-In, pushes EACOP Oil Pipeline

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: French President Emmanuel Macron has sent a strong message of support to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ahead of his swearing-in ceremony next month pledging to work with him to strengthen the political and economic relationship between the two countries.

“Today, Uganda exports 60 million kilograms of tea, 70 million bags of coffee, the production of cotton has increased and tourism has been the main national foreign exchange earner before Covid-19 outbreak,” he said.

KABAMBA MILITARY ACADEMY: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces has said leadership must be equal or greater than the number of troops under their command at each level and directed the UPDF leadership to always keep abreast with those requirements including deliberately training leaders and officers of the right level and age of command at Platoon, Company levels.

Promote Patriotism, Pan-Africanism for Prosperity to Flourish - President

The President was yesterday giving an opportunity lecture to a delegation of Officers, Men and students of Kenya Defense Staff College Karen who paid a courtesy call on him at State House Entebbe.

President Urges Educationists, Parents on Career Guidance

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has strongly urged educationists and parents as well as all leaders in Uganda to guide students on what courses to pursue that are on the job market.

“Education without aim is very dangerous especially for the family who spend money on children doing courses which dont have market on the for sectors is a very big mistake,” he said.
