KAMPALA: The President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping has congratulated the President-Elect Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on his re-election and said he believes that under his leadership, Uganda will continue to make even greater achievements in materializing her vision on national development.

MITYANA DISTRICT: President Yoweri Museveni who is also the NRM Presidential candidate in the upcoming general elections has urged Ugandans to remain peaceful and assured the country that nobody will destabilize Uganda. He appealed to Ugandans to go out in big numbers and vote for their leaders.

KATONGA, MASAKA: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the commander In Chief of the UPDF has commended the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) and the Directorate of Doctrines for the idea of constructing a Uganda National Military Museum at Katonga on the outskirts of Masaka city.

RAKAI DISTRICT: President Museveni has cautioned district and youth leaders that they must stick to the NRM ideology, which emphasizes politics of mobilization, discussion and agreement as opposed to politics of threat and violence to the people. 

KISOZI, GOMBA DISTRICT: The Kenyan government has agreed to let in 90,000 metric tonnes of Ugandan sugar into its market annually, following a meeting of the two countries' officials. 

The revelation was made yesterday by the Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Patrick Ocailap, as he briefed President Yoweri Museveni at the Presidential Ranch in Kisozi, Gomba District. 

MUBENDE DISTRICT: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has made a passionate plea to Ugandans not to become complacent in the fight against COVID19 and urged them to strictly follow the Ministry of Health guidelines as the country is hopeful for a vaccine. 

FORTPORTAL MUNICIPALITY, KABALORE: Leaders from Tooro sub-region have commended the NRM government under the stewardship of President Museveni for fulfilling the pledges made in the 2016 campaign manifesto.

KYENJOJO DISTRICT: President Museveni has today commissioned the newly rehabilitation Kyenjojo- Fort Portal road in Kyenjojo district. The 50 km rehabilitated road which was fully funded by the Government of Uganda at a cost of 119 billion UGX, starts at Kyenjojo, east of Fort Portal on the road to Mubende and ends at T- junction near Mpanga market in Fort Portal Municipality.

RUKUNGIRI DISTRICT: President Yoweri Museveni who is also the NRM Presidential flag bearer has scoffed at opposition leaders who he says have failed to show the people ways of eradicating poverty and yet criticize his leadership and want him to leave the Presidency.
