STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: French President Emmanuel Macron has sent a strong message of support to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ahead of his swearing-in ceremony next month pledging to work with him to strengthen the political and economic relationship between the two countries.

NALI, KYANKWANZI: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has met and held discussions with the Mufti of Zimbabwe also the head of the Country’s Fatwa department, His Eminence Sheikh Ismail Ibn Musa Menk.

Mufti Menk who paid a courtesy call on the President is in the country to preach to the youth a message of Love, Peace, harmony and living together as brothers and sisters. 

NALI, KYANKWANZI: President Yoweri Museveni has called on political leaders at all levels to engage in a more transparent fight against corruption saying they are the most appropriated sector of people to engage in the fight against corruption in society because they are near the voters who suffer most.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: Trade irregularities between Kenya and Uganda should be eliminated using a strategic analysis as long as there is good-will between the two countries through frank discussions, President Yoweri Museveni has said.

The message was today read by President Museveni at State House Entebbe.

“It is therefore a great shock that such a useful leader has died so early when he was beginning to make an impact on his country,” he said.
