CHATO, TANZANIA: President Yoweri Museveni has today concluded his three-day state visit to the United Republic Of Tanzania with a visit to the ancestral home of the Late Tanzania President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli where he paid his respects and laid a wreath on the grave of the former head of state.

DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA: President Yoweri Museveni has directed the Minister of East African Affairs as well as the Uganda High commissioner to Tanzania to facilitate the setting up of Tanzania Ports Authority offices in Kampala, a move agreed upon by the two heads of State to fast track the transportation of goods and services for the new crude Oil pipeline and also ease the cost of doing business between the two countries. 

DAR-ES-SALAAM, TANZANIA: President Yoweri Museveni and his host Tanzania President Samia Suluhu Hassan have agreed on various key strategic projects that will deepen cooperation in trade and development, notable among which is the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project that will not only see oil flow downstream from the Albertine region and in future from Kadam in Karamoja, DR.Congo and South Sudan but will also see gas flow from the coastal region in Tanzania upstream, to the continents inlands.

KABAMBA, MUBENDE:  President Yoweri Museveni has vowed that nobody will disturb peace of Uganda and anybody who tries will perish.

“Nobody will disturb the peace of Uganda. Anybody who tries will perish because the army is strong,” the President said referring to the recent twin bombings in Kampala that left six people dead including the 3 terrorists who blew themselves up.

KABALYE, MASINDI DISTRICT: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of Uganda’s Armed forces has passed out 5200 Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) at Kabalye Police Training School in Masindi. 

The pass-out ceremony took place yesterday (Friday) at Kabalye Cell, Karujubu Division, Masindi Municipality, Masindi District in western Uganda.

KOLOLO INDEPENDENCE GROUNDS: President Yoweri Museveni has said that the NRM Government has been working to promote the policy of science led industrial development for faster transformation. 

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has said that Uganda can work with the Democratic Republic of Congo to defeat the ADF terrorists wrecking havoc in the neighbouring country.

BWEBAJA: President Yoweri Museveni surprised his Bazukulu at Bwebaja along Entebbe Road when he made a planned stop and gifted each with a hamper. The Bazukulu have for sometime now occasionally waited at the roadside to wave and sing for him on his way to State House Entebbe.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has urged a Turkish investment delegation to tap into Uganda’s vibrant fruit processing sector and promote agro-production in the country.

The President was today meeting a Turkish delegation of investors that was led by the Turkish Ambassador to Uganda H.E. Fikret Kerem Alp at State House, Entebbe.
