Tanzania to Establish Port Office in Kampala for Coordination

DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA: President Yoweri Museveni has directed the Minister of East African Affairs as well as the Uganda High commissioner to Tanzania to facilitate the setting up of Tanzania Ports Authority offices in Kampala, a move agreed upon by the two heads of State to fast track the transportation of goods and services for the new crude Oil pipeline and also ease the cost of doing business between the two countries.

DAR-ES-SALAAM, TANZANIA: President Yoweri Museveni and his host Tanzania President Samia Suluhu Hassan have agreed on various key strategic projects that will deepen cooperation in trade and development, notable among which is the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project that will not only see oil flow downstream from the Albertine region and in future from Kadam in Karamoja, DR.Congo and South Sudan but will also see gas flow from the coastal region in Tanzania upstream, to the continents inlands.

President to New PPCs, “Future is Bright, if you act Right”

KABALYE, MASINDI DISTRICT: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of Uganda’s Armed forces has passed out 5200 Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) at Kabalye Police Training School in Masindi. 

The pass-out ceremony took place yesterday (Friday) at Kabalye Cell, Karujubu Division, Masindi Municipality, Masindi District in western Uganda.
