President, First Lady complete COVID-19 vaccination, “Take the Jab”

STATE LODGE, NAKASERO: President Yoweri Museveni and the First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni have today taken the second COVID-19 vaccination jab completing the recommended dose to minimise effects of the raging COVID-19 Pandemic.

“I urge Ugandans to get vaccinated. We started with the high-risk groups like health workers, teachers, security and people with comorbidities. Our target is to cover over four million people,” he said.

Uganda, Dr Congo sign major Infrastructure, Security Agreements

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have today signed major agreements that will see the two countries bolster cross border trade and development and stabilize Eastern Congo that is wrought with pockets of instability.

The signing ceremony is a follow up to the meeting between President Yoweri Museveni and President Felix Tshisekedi that recently took place at State House Entebbe.

We need low-cost Transport and Energy to Spur Production – Museveni

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has said the country needs lo-cost transport and energy for manufacturing to spur production and growth, adding that the country would rather borrow and implement projects if they can fit in the debt ceiling.

The President was yesterday meeting the Directors of Alvan Blanc and Colas from the United Kingdom, led by British High Commissioner to Uganda, Kate Airey at State House Entebbe.  

President hails Professional Uganda Airlines Pilots, “It was a wonderful Experience”

ENTEBBE: On his maiden flight aboard the new Uganda Airlines flight to and from Dar Es Salaam Tanzania, President Yoweri Museveni described his experience aboard the Bombadier as ‘a wonderful one’ and the pilots as professionals who know their work. 

The President later stopped briefly and talked to the pilots and some airlines crew before and after his flight. 

Use petroleum to Strengthen Regions infinite Resources for Jobs and Wealth – President Museveni

STATE HOUSE, DAR ES SALAAM: President Yoweri Museveni has cautioned the region not to be intoxicated with petroleum as this is an exhaustible resource but urged stakeholders to use it to build the infinite resources in the four sectors that drive jobs and wealth creation including commercial agriculture, industrialization, services including tourism, banking, entertainment and Information Communication Technology (ICT) the new software.
