Invest in Indigenous seed Multiplication, President tells MAAIF

WAKISO, NAMALERE: President Yoweri Museveni has flagged off Agro-Processing Equipment for post-harvest and value addition farmer organisations at Namalere Agricultural Referral Mechanization Centre in Wakiso district. 

During the commissioning ceremony on saturday, the President also handed over a dummy cheque worth 60 billion shillings to the recently awarded grant beneficiaries.

President apologies for not stopping for supporters

WAKISO:  President Yoweri Museveni has appealed to Ugandans to be extra strict on guarding and protecting themselves against COVID-19 pandemic and avoid further spread.

The President today issued an apology and statement to supporters who lined the streets at Bwaise, Kawanda and Namalere yesterday in anticipation that he would stop and talk to them. The President however, did not stop.

President Museveni to Iran “Uganda has Enormous Investment Potential”

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has assured the outgoing Iranian ambassador to Uganda H.E Seyed Morteza Mortazavi of Uganda’s continued cooperation with Iran and said Uganda has an enormous investment potential that can be exploited by Iranian investors. 

The President was yesterday meeting Ambassador Mortazavi who paid him a courtesy call. The ambassador has ended his three year tour of duty in Uganda.

Uganda Government, Total sign key oil Pipeline Agreement

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE. The Government of Uganda and Total have concluded and signed the Host Government Agreement (HGA) for the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project. 

The ceremony that took place yesterday at State House Entebbe was presided over by President Museveni, and witnessed by Mr. Patrick Pouyanne, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Total.

“Bring Concept of Justice Closer to the People”, President urges Judiciary

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has urged the Judiciary to prioritize their activities so that they minimize the gap between the respective arms of government and serve the people of Uganda well.

“If we prioritize well, there will be no problem. However, the indiscipline of some elites in this case is causing us problems” President Museveni said.
