President Museveni receives Bamugemereire Land Commission Report

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: The Commission of Inquiry into Land Matters led by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire has today handed over its report to President Yoweri Museveni and briefed him about several issues including that the land fund established by government to settle land matters is used to finance irregular transactions involving payment of huge sums of money from the land fund to brokers and well-connected individuals in Kampala.

President Launches MasterCards’ Young Africa Works Initiative

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has presided over the official virtual launch of the Young Africa Works initiative an initiative of the MasterCard Foundation.

The MasterCard Foundation is an international non-governmental organization established by MasterCard in 2006. The foundation develops programs primarily in education, employment and agriculture fields.

President Museveni Flags off Covid-19 field Vehicles

KOLOLO, KAMPALA: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has flagged off 25 vehicles donated to Covid-19 Response Team to help in the fight against the spread of Corona virus pandemic in the country. 

During the function that took place yesterday at Kololo Independence grounds, President Yoweri Museveni warned Ugandans about the Corona Virus disease saying it is still here and very dangerous.

President Museveni meets US, Belgium Ambassadors

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this afternoon met and held discussions with the Belgian Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Rudi Veestraeten and the Deputy Chief of Mission and the Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy Christopher Krafft.

President Museveni and his guests discussed areas of mutual interest between Uganda, Belgium and the United States of America focusing especially on the Education sector.
