STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: The Commission of Inquiry into Land Matters led by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire has today handed over its report to President Yoweri Museveni and briefed him about several issues including that the land fund established by government to settle land matters is used to finance irregular transactions involving payment of huge sums of money from the land fund to brokers and well-connected individuals in Kampala.

The MasterCard Foundation is an international non-governmental organization established by MasterCard in 2006. The foundation develops programs primarily in education, employment and agriculture fields.

KOLOLO, KAMPALA: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has flagged off 25 vehicles donated to Covid-19 Response Team to help in the fight against the spread of Corona virus pandemic in the country. 

During the function that took place yesterday at Kololo Independence grounds, President Yoweri Museveni warned Ugandans about the Corona Virus disease saying it is still here and very dangerous.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this afternoon bid farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of Germany to Uganda H.E Dr. Albrecht Conze who has concluded his three-year tour of duty in Uganda.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has this afternoon met and held discussions with the Belgian Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Rudi Veestraeten and the Deputy Chief of Mission and the Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy Christopher Krafft.

President Museveni and his guests discussed areas of mutual interest between Uganda, Belgium and the United States of America focusing especially on the Education sector.

MBALALA, MUKONO: In face of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ugandans and Africans in general must wake up and exploit their potential to create an industrialised economy, President Museveni has said. 

The President made the call today (Tuesday) while commissioning two mask production lines of LIDA Packaging Ltd in Mbalala Industrial Park, Mukono District. 

KIMAKA, JINJA: President Museveni has said that for society to transform from an undeveloped to a developed one, leaders must focus on studying ideology, strategy and the tactics that they can use to change it. 

The President was yesterday delivering a lecture to senior military officers at the Senior Staff and Command College, Kimaka in Jinja.

KIMAKA, JINJA: President Museveni has commended the Indian government and its nationals for its continued cooperation and support to Uganda, especially on the economic front. 

The President made the commendation today as he inaugurated the War Game Centre at the Senior Command and Staff College, Kimaka in Jinja.
